Our mission

Our mission is to support the Auckland District Health Board to provide the best care possible for every adult patient. We do this by raising funds from generous donors and use these donations to undertake critical research, provide study scholarships, and help fund key capital works like the recently fitted out Bone Marrow Transplant ward. All this results in better care for patients.

“Limited government funding and the rising cost of healthcare delivery cannot provide all that is needed. To ensure that the DHB provides the very best care in the best environment, your support is more critical than ever. I chair the A+ Trust because it can do so much to fill some of these funding gaps.

The A+ Trust is keen to continue to provide funds for research, education, staff support and recognition, clinical care and patient comfort.”
Richard Frith, A+ Trust Chairman

Petra Bagust introduces the Trust

Petra Bagust provides a brief overview of the A+ Trust and the vital work it does to support the Auckland District Health Board.

"I am delighted to donate my collection of antique microscopes to the A+ Trust because I can’t think of a more worthy recipient. They have given me a lot of pleasure over my life time and I hope others will now get as much pleasure from seeing them on display as I have."
