The A+ Trust has launched a major promotion to encourage people to update their Wills and in doing so, to hopefully consider remembering the Trust in their estate planning.
Did you know that a third of people who die each year, don’t have a valid Will? The reason for not having one can vary but often the main reason is “I just haven’t got around to drawing up one”. The A+ Trust has decided to provide a service to help change this statistic for staff and visitors to Auckland Hospital as well as to offer a service to our supporters.
26 – 29 June 2017 will be ‘Make a Will’ week at Auckland Hospital. During this week a number of promotional activities will take place to encourage staff, visitors and even patients at the hospital to write or update their Will. Please click here for seminar times and dates.
There will be intensive publicity around the hospital promoting the A+ Trust and emphasising the need for everyone to make a Will. The Trust will show how previous bequests have been used to fund various projects at Auckland Hospital.
The A+ Trust and our partner for this wonderful campaign, the Public Trust, will offer practical tips and assistance to help people make or update their Will. During the last week of June a series of free seminars will be conducted and personal consultation will be available to explain how to make or update an existing Will and if appropriate, how to make a bequest to the A+ Trust.
“The Board of Trustees is very excited about this initiative which helps our hospital staff, as well as supporters and friends of the Trust” – Dr Richard Frith, Neurologist & Chairman, Auckland DHB Charitable Trust.
