Important projects

The A+ Trust has an important role in helping to fund a number of vital projects in order to provide the best care possible for every patient. There are four key areas that we provide funding for:

Capital Projects

These vary but recent campaigns have included the Fisher and Paykel Healthcare Clinical Education Centre and the recent upgrade of the Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Ward.


ADHB is one of the largest research organisations in New Zealand. It is through the generation and testing of new ideas that we can continue to achieve medical breakthroughs.


The A+ Trust Health Workforce Scholarship Programme enables well deserving staff and students to further their training in their chosen health field.

The Healing Environment

Creating a calming and peaceful environment plays an important role in the process of healing for our patients.

Proving funds for great clinicians

The A+ Trust provides valuable funds for training great clinicians.
